Sandy Webster is a chartered civil engineer, project manager, and unregistered barrister. He has over 17 years of experience in the planning, design, procurement, construction, and management, of complex engineering and construction projects across the world.
Mr. Webster has been appointed as an NEC Supervisor expert and independent certifier expert on two major hospital projects. He has also provided project management advice and expertise on disputes in the High Court for a mixed-use town centre development in the UK and Arbitration for an industrial complex in Scandinavia. Additionally, he has conducted delay analysis on multiple projects worth up to £2billion including highways, hotels, schools, theatre, office and exhibition buildings in the UK and internationally.
With practical experience ranging from rail, aviation, and tunnelling, to commercial and residential real estate, Mr. Webster has an extensive understanding of the project lifecycle across these sectors. He has held director level positions in project management consultancies, and senior positions in contracting organisations, where he managed the civil engineering division of a rail contractor with over 200 staff.
Alongside his passion for construction and engineering, Mr. Webster pursued qualifications in law to broaden his knowledge and understanding of dispute resolution. He is currently serving on the Institution of Civil Engineer’s dispute resolution committee
