Richard Finkelman is a globally-recognized technology expert with more than 30 years of experience in managing information and technology in matters regarding litigation, compliance, and business.
Mr. Finkleman’s experience includes assisting clients with machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions in disputes, compliance, and financial services industries. He has helped multinational companies implement anti-bribery and third-party compliance programs and litigation technology systems.
He is currently focused on the use of AI and machine learning technologies in the legal industry. He has worked to develop an AI/ML framework that predicts document characteristics and is currently developing new Generative AI technology to help clients better manage litigation activities.
Mr. Finkelman has provided expert witness testimony and expert consulting services to clients across numerous industries, including manufacturing, entertainment, government, healthcare, financial, and consumer products.
Mr. Finkelman is the recipient of two AI awards from Relativity. In 2023 he received their annual award for AI Innovation and in 2024 he was named an AI Visionary. Mr. Finkelman regularly contributes to the industry through technology education. He created the legal industry’s first survey on AI/ML technologies in eDiscovery and document review, regularly conducts CLE presentations on AI and legal ethics, and volunteers at law schools that have AI curriculums for their students.
