Maria El Asmar has more than seven years of experience in the civil engineering industry specializing in both construction and design analysis. Her expertise includes construction claims analysis, arbitration and litigation, forensic delay analysis, design damages, and standard of care evaluation.
Ms. El Asmar has contributed to a diverse array of projects, including airports, bridges, commercial and industrial buildings, hotels, fertilizer plants, and pipelines. Her strong technical background also enables her to support clients in various aspects of project control, including international arbitration and litigation.
Before her consulting career, Ms. El Asmar worked as a project engineer on freeway transportation construction project where she managed project schedules, procurement, and execution of works. Additionally, Ms. El Asmar worked on commercial and industrial design projects in the middle east where she led design teams on numerous commercial and industrial projects in the Middle East.
Ms. El Asmar is an active friend of the Contract Law committee of the transportation research board. She participates in annual legal research and organizes presentation for their workshops.
