Karolina Rybacka is a qualified chartered accountant specialising in quantifying economic damages in commercial disputes and investor state arbitration. She has considerable experience assisting expert witnesses in preparing reports and financial models in arbitration and litigation proceedings in various sectors, including oil & gas, construction and commodities trading.
Ms. Rybacka has worked on projects involving business valuation, quantification of lost profits, assessing the reasonableness of liquidated damages under various legal systems, and assessing the quantum of wasted costs.
Before joining Secretariat, Ms. Rybacka spent four years at a Big 4 accounting firm advising private equity clients on tax aspects of cross-border M&A transactions.
Ms. Rybacka is bilingual in Polish and English.
