Mr. Rivas has 24 years’ experience in the construction industry, providing claims advisory services and arbitration support since 2013. He has worked with clients in providing forensic schedule analysis support, cost/quantum reports and data gathering for a wide range of disputes.

Mr. Rivas specialises in providing advice on construction projects and supports clients involved in claims and disputes. Mr. Rivas’s work experience in the construction industry includes planning and commercial management, earned value planning, monitoring and control, risk and change management, claims and disputes.

Before joining Secretariat, Mr. Rivas worked in major capital civil and oil & gas projects appearing as a testifying fact witness on three occasions in international arbitration proceedings.

Mr. Rivas has undertaken the Legal Experience Training Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (LETAPAEWE) accredited by Pearson Learning at a level 7 (Masters level) BTEC.
