Mr. Bilkhu commenced his career providing pre and post contract quantity surveying services including cost planning and estimating, procurement and tendering, valuations, final accounts, negotiation and agreement. He has worked for consultancies, contractors, joint venture, and client organisations on projects in the UK, Middle East and Asia.
For more than 15 years, Mr. Bilkhu has worked in dispute avoidance and resolution, providing independent expert services on a broad range of projects within various sectors, including buildings, rail, civils, infrastructure, and energy. Mr. Bilkhu regularly supports the named quantum expert in large-value domestic and international disputes, conducting detailed forensic investigation and quantum analysis, drafting expert reports, and assisting legal teams in the preparation and management of witness evidence and cross-examination.
Mr Bilkhu is familiar and has experience with many standard forms of contract, including NEC, JCT, ICE and FIDIC.
