Mr. Fujimoto is a forensic accountant with over 40 years of experience in conducting audits, leading forensic investigations, and providing litigation support.
Mr. Fujimoto spent 36 years with Deloitte, including over 23 years as a partner. The first 19 years were in the audit practice, serving as the signing audit partner on many public and private companies. In the remaining 17 years, Mr. Fujimoto focused on conducting internal corporate investigations and assisting counsel with litigation support as an expert witness or as a consultant.
Mr. Fujimoto has worked with company boards, audit committees and outside counsel in connection with investigations around the world, many of which have required reporting to and/or working with regulators, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) and the U.S. Department of Justice (“DOJ”). He has extensive experience in complex accounting areas such as revenue recognition, materiality and the timing of reserves.
Mr. Fujimoto has experience testifying as an expert witness on accounting matters for both corporations and government agencies, including the DOJ and SEC.
