FCPA Enforcement: Where the Bribery Actually Happened
FCPA enforcement trends analyzed by geography. Discover where bribery risk is concentrated and how it impacts global compliance, investigations and risk management.
An analytical, forward-thinking, and versatile engineer, Dr. de Pannemaecker is a professional licensed engineer with more than ten years of experience specializing in tribology, mostly focusing on metal contacts under sinusoidal or random vibrations generating fatigue, fretting and wear damage. She is equipped with in-depth knowledge of aerospace, nuclear and robotics development, and is multilingual in English and French.
With multiple years as a scientist working in consulting on both proactive and reactive cases, she performed failure investigations and root cause analysis for systems such as consumer products, natural gas pipelines, gas turbines and industrial engines. Dr. de Pannemaecker also developed tests and evaluation criteria to answer critical questions regarding product design, manufacturing, production, and failure. She is an expert at building bridges between numerical simulations by developing codes using analytical equations or finite element method (FEM), and experimental investigations whether it is in laboratory or in the field.
Prior to joining Secretariat, Dr. de Pannemaecker acted as a Mechanical Codes and Methods Engineer in the nuclear industry. Her role centered on advancing mechanical analysis methods for liquid metal fast nuclear reactors, embodying a unique blend of mechanical engineering and software development. Her most recent work includes crafting software in Python to automate the creation of finite element models, ensuring accurate analysis of reactor cores and their components.
Very forthcoming and eager to share, she performed lectures on her research interests in laboratories where fretting and fatigue were not specialties, including the Rush University Medical Center, Department of Orthopedics, Chicago IL USA; Mines CDM, Paris France; Physics department at Polytechnique Montréal, Montreal Canada; and presented her research work at international conferences in England, China, Brazil or North America.
