Alexander Messmer has more than 15 years of experience providing advisory and consulting services on complex issues involving business and investment valuation, damages quantification, fraud and investigations, finance, accounting, and economics. He has worked on more than 30 disputes in domestic and foreign courts, and arbitrations before ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, and ad-hoc tribunals. Mr. Messmer has also assisted on accounting matters in internal audits, independent investigations, and white-collar criminal defense.
Mr. Messmer has worked with various clients, including Fortune 500 companies, foreign nationals, and sovereign nations. He has worked on projects in North, South, and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, Oceania, and Asia in various industries such as energy, utilities, real estate, oil & gas, metals & mining, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and financial services.
Mr. Messmer joined Secretariat as part of the firm’s acquisition of Versant Partners in August 2021. Previously, he spent thirteen years in the disputes practice at a publicly-traded consulting firm before it was acquired by a leading private business advisory and expert services firm.
